Royal Mail Cyber Incident - Delays Expected for Overseas Post
Royal mail is experiencing considerable disruption following a recent cyber incident. On the 11th of January 2023 the company announced that they are temporarily unable to export letters and parcels to international destinations.
Investigations are ongoing and more information is expected soon. In the meantime, the company has advised customers not to send parcels and letters overseas until the issues have been resolved.
For the foreseeable future, we strongly advise any of our customers to opt for the secure DHL courier service we offer if orders are to be sent internationally. Private courier firms such as DHL are unaffected by these recent events.
