Lunar New Year – Embassy Processing Times

As is tradition in China and Vietnam, amongst other countries, the Lunar New Year festival is celebrated during the beginning of the calendar year. In 2023 this will be celebrated between the 21st and the 27th of January.

During this period the respective embassies will be closed. As a result, the processing times for legalising documents with these embassies will be affected. We will not know the extent of any delays in advance. In our experience based on previous years each embassy will likely have a backlog of documents to process which may add approximately 5-10 working days to the processing time for each country.

Nonetheless, we will continue to make every effort to process orders for China and Vietnam as quickly as we possibly can during this time.
